Rodney Blount’s primary residence is in Sun Valley, Idaho. In-person sessions are available here for clients in Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey and the wider Wood River Valley — and for visitors who want to build sessions into a trip.
Working with Rodney locally
The practice is deliberately small. Rodney takes four to six clients at a time, which means local availability is genuinely limited and worth asking about early. Contact hours are Monday through Friday, 11am to 5pm Mountain Time. He does not work evenings or weekends.
Everything begins with a two-hour Discovery Session at $350, which produces a customized plan rather than a package you are sold into.
For visitors to the valley
A number of Rodney’s clients are not local. They come to Sun Valley for a stretch of days and book concentrated work while they are here — either full-day intensive sessions with a two-day minimum, or a run of standard sessions across a visit.
If you are planning a trip and want to build sessions into it, get in touch well ahead of your dates. Between the four-to-six client limit and a five-day contact week, last-minute scheduling rarely works.
What he works with
Rodney does not take a symptom list and match it to a treatment. He assesses across five levels — physical, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual — and works on whichever is actually holding the pattern. Locally he is most often asked for:
- Preparation and recovery around a scheduled surgery
- Athletic and orthopedic injuries that have not resolved on schedule — a common request in a valley where people ski, ride and climb year round
- Chronic patterns where the medical workup has come back clean
- Emotional and spiritual layers of an illness that is already being treated
- Qigong and standing practice instruction for people who want something they can keep doing themselves
Beyond the valley
Rodney also works frequently in San Francisco and Maui, travels to clients for multi-day on-site intensives with a four-day minimum, and sees clients anywhere in the world by video session.
