Pranic Healing is one of the seven Eastern disciplines Rodney studied directly under master teachers, and one he has used in practice for decades.
The idea behind it
Pranic Healing works from the premise that the physical body is surrounded and interpenetrated by an energy body, and that disturbances show up there in a form that can be assessed and addressed. The practitioner scans, clears what is congested, and directs energy to what is depleted. No touch is required.
It is a systematic discipline rather than an intuitive one. There is a structure to the assessment and a structure to the treatment, which is part of why Rodney kept it: it is teachable, repeatable, and it holds up.
Where it fits in Rodney’s practice
Rodney does not run single-modality sessions. He assesses across the five levels and uses whichever discipline the situation calls for. Pranic Healing tends to come forward when the picture is one of depletion or congestion rather than a single stuck driver — long illness, extended stress, the flattened feeling that follows a hard year, recovery that has stalled.
Where the picture is one specific thing holding a pattern in place, Yuen Method work is usually the faster route. In practice both often appear in the same session.
Sessions
Because no touch is involved, Pranic Healing works well over video. In-person sessions are available in Sun Valley, Idaho. Everything starts with a two-hour Discovery Session.
Learning to do some of it yourself
A stated goal of Rodney’s practice is that clients leave able to assess and restore themselves, rather than needing a practitioner indefinitely. Where it fits, he teaches the self-care end of this work directly — see Qigong and standing practice.
