Some situations do not suit an hour a week. For those, Rodney works in concentrated blocks across consecutive days. There are two formats.
At his location — two-day minimum
Full-day intensive sessions in Sun Valley, Idaho, booked as a block of consecutive days with a two-day minimum. Clients who are travelling in for the work usually take this format, and a number build it into a longer stay in the valley.
At your location — four-day minimum
Rodney travels to clients. Because travel takes a working week apart, on-site engagements carry a four-day minimum. He works frequently in San Francisco and Maui, and internationally.
When an intensive is the right format
- A fixed deadline — most often a scheduled surgery, sometimes a competition, a tour or a trip
- Complex situations with several layers that are easier to work through in sequence than in isolated weekly pieces
- Clients who live too far out for a regular in-person rhythm and want a substantial in-person block instead
- Work that includes teaching — standing practice and self-assessment are far easier to establish across consecutive days
How to arrange one
Intensives start with the same two-hour Discovery Session as any other work, usually by video, so there is a plan before anyone books travel. Rodney takes four to six clients at a time and his contact week is Monday to Friday, 11am–5pm Mountain Time, so intensives are scheduled well ahead rather than slotted in.
When you write in, say what you are working with and what your timing constraints are.
